Hello love bugs! We all have something we struggle with. Sometimes its something we deal with over several years or just a couple years. Well there has been something I have been struggling with for the past seven months. I want to share with you guys what it is in case you guys are dealing with the same thing, I can help you guys manage it.

Seven months ago a normal day turned bad in a matter of seconds. It was Monkey's moms birthday so I woke up early and curled my hair and hit the road to go have lunch with the family. Well when I got to Monkey's house my back was hurting really bad but I just blew it off because I always have back pain. Well we got to the restaurant and I really started to feel bad. I excused myself to the bathroom and when I got in there, it was all a blur. I started sweating like a pig and my vision was going in and out. I wasn't really in pain but I was worried what was going on. Once lunch was over Monkey's mom and sister invited me to go out and get pedicures. I was having a little pain but nothing I couldn't handle. So I go out and get a pedicure. I had to turn the massager off the chair because it was hurting my lower back too bad. At this point I had no idea what was going on because I hadn't ever felt this before.

Once our toes were painted and looking cute, I go back to Monkey's house. I decide to try to take a nap. As soon as I laid down, I jumped up with a pain that started in my lower abdomen and shot all the way up under my ribs and through my shoulder and into my back. This really freaked me out. So I called my nana and she heard me yell in pain and told me to get in the car and come home. I assured her that I would be okay and Monkey would take me to the doctor when he got off work.

I tried to get some rest but I had to sleep sitting up and every time I moved it hurt. Whenever Monkey got home we went straight to the doctor. After sitting the waiting room for an hour, we finally got back. They did a urine test and a blood test and then a CT scan. I was in so much pain laying there in the CT it was almost unbearable. They got me back to my room and gave me a big dose of Morphine. I was still in pain but I didn't care anymore.

Finally after about 4-6 hours the doctor came in and said that I had a cyst on my ovary rupture. I had no idea that I even had ovarian cysts but apparently they run in my family.

Fast foward a couple months... I was having pain again and I went back to the doctor and after the same tests, they found out that I had endometriosis. Endometriosis is when the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus grows on the outside. It is extremely painful and unfortunately it doesn't just go away over time. :(

So with all these issues I have been having, Monkey and I have been researching different ways to help it so I won't have to have a hysterectomy at 20. GNC and any local health food store sells a vitamin called "Vitex" which we have found helps a lot. Also, any type  of heat (bubble bath with Epsom salts, heating pad, water bottle filled with hot water).  We researched and thought it was a good idea to get on the Depo birth control shot. I DO NOT recommend this for anyone who has endo or cyst pain. It has only made it hurt worse.

Having endo and cyst problems cause me to struggle a lot. They put a hindrance on my exercise career and the way I live my everyday life. But I have been controlling the pain to the best of my ability and trying to maintain a positive attitude about the whole situation. What is something you have been struggling with? Is it something you have been dealing with just today or something that has been on your shoulders for a long time? Have you had endo or cyst problems? How do you manage the pain?
