I'm not sure how many of you guys have heard Keri Smith's book called Wreck This Journal, but its a book that you literally destroy. Being the book lover that I am, I felt wrong for destroying it but it brought out a creative side of me that I did not know existed. With this series I hope to inspire you to find our creative side and embrace it! Everyday I am going to share 3-4 pages with you. I am going tell you the materials I used, and give a brief description of each page.

This is my front cover! Before I started it was completely black and plain. So all I did was cut strips of craft ribbon that you buy at Walmart and I glued it to the front. I used different color ribbon to make it have more of a girly vibe to it.

This is my title page. I am really proud of how it turned out. My favorite part is the pink and purple feather. On the opposite page all I did was glue down some scrapbook paper and then stuck some adorable animal stickers. :)

When I first saw this page I found it interesting that a book had a warning page. What it says is "During the process of this book you will get dirty. You may find yourself covered in paint, or any other number of foreign substances. You will get wet. You may be asked to do things you question. You may grieve for the perfect state that you found the book in. You may begin to see creative destruction everywhere. You may begin to live more recklessly." I found this hilarious so I decided not to cover it up. All I did was color the page orange and pink. On the opposite page, I covered it in scrapbook paper and wrote a quote I found from Pinterest saying "Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire." I found those words relevant for this book.

Finally, this page is dedicated for whom the book belongs to. You are asked to: write your name in white, to write your name illegibly, to write your name in tiny letters, to write your name backwards, to write your name faintly, to write your name using large letters and then your address and phone number. I did all of that and then on the opposite page, I just covered it in rainbow hearts.

So that is a wrap on my first four pages of Wreck This Journal. Please comment what your favorite pages were. Have you done something like this before? If not, are you interested in finding your creative niche? Leave all comments below! Have a marvelous Monday!
